These unfinished products were finished with our pigmented lacquers - lots of different colors to choose from...
Victrola
Our customer's father collects Christ statues from all over the world. This particular one was repaired in various areas and placed upon the wooden pedestal that Gary made for it.
The back of this Hickory chair had broken in two. Gary turned a new piece for the back of the chair and Wanda stained and finished the new turning to match the chair.
A new rocker was made to replace the broken on. New rocker was stained and finished to match.
Ever jump on your bed and the side rails get yanked out of the pins at the headboard or footboard? We see this happen all the time. Fortunately for you, we can fix that!
This octagon shaped table had seen better days prior to coming to us. We stripped the old finish and added a new and darker finish per the customer's direction. Turned out so pretty!
One of the spindles in the back of this rocker was broken in two. Gary repaired the broken spindle and you would never know the rocker had been broken.
We HIGHLY recommend installing safety hinges to chest like these to prevent injury. Also, to prevent someone from being locked inside, here is a link from Lane announcing a recall on in-home replacement of locks on cedar chests - http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml96/96186.html
Too bad that we didn't have before photos of this chest. There were many areas that required veneer repair/replacement and some of the knobs were missing. Not to worry - we made new ones.
A very nice little spinet desk finished in a natural stain with dull rub finish.
